Do you want to make a difference? We are now looking for a Social Secretary for the Reception Unit – a workplace where your skills and commitment make a difference. One of our employees has moved on to other tasks within the authority, and now we are looking for you who want to take over.

The Reception Unit is part of the first line of social services and consists of two groups. One group works with preliminary assessments of reports and applications concerning children and young people as well as domestic violence. The other group works with adults (over 18 years) with harmful use or addiction to alcohol, drugs, or gambling, as well as domestic violence.

In your role, you will work in the group handling cases concerning children and young people as well as domestic violence. You receive and conduct preliminary assessments of reports concerning children and young people. You handle applications, conduct investigations, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act in cases concerning domestic violence. The work involves exercising authority according to current legislation.

We use standardized investigation tools, for example, FREDA. If you do not have previous experience with these tools, you will receive training. Your skills are an important addition as we adapt our working methods in anticipation of the new Social Services Act.

Qualifications

• Trained Social Worker (Social Secretarial degree).
• Category B driver's license.
• Previous experience in exercising authority within social services is an advantage.
• We place importance on personal qualities.
